Visions Become Reality
The parched ground shall become a pool . . . -Isaiah 35:7
We always have a vision of something before it actually becomes real to us. When we realize that the vision is real, but is not yet real in us, Satan comes to us with his temptations, and we are inclined to say that there is no point in even trying to continue. Instead of the vision becoming real to us, we have entered into a valley of humiliation.

Put God First
Jesus did not commit Himself to them…for He knew what was in man. —John 2:24-25
Put Trust in God First. Our Lord never put His trust in any person. Yet He was never suspicious, never bitter, and never lost hope for anyone, because He put His trust in God first. He trusted absolutely in what God’s grace could do for others. If I put my trust in human beings first, the end result will be my despair and hopelessness toward everyone. I will become bitter because I have insisted that people be what no person can ever be— absolutely perfect and right. Never trust anything in yourself or in anyone else, except the grace of

The Shepherd's Point of View
You are standing on the mountain
Holding to the Shepherd's hand,
The valley you just came through
Was hard to understand.
Then the Shepherd draws you closer,
There's something He wants you to see,
And He points back to the valley
And unfolds its mysteries.
As the eagles soar around you
And you look back on where you've been,
One by one He answers questions
That He did not answer then.
He now shows you the danger
Of going your own way
All those roads you thought were better
Would have led your soul astray.
He reminds you of that moment
When you could not make it through.
Now you see one set of footprints
Where He reached down and carried you.
As your tears fall on His shoulder,
And you thank Him for His love,
He says, "Child, I knew that one day,
You'd see this valley from above."
Things look different on the mountain
From the Shepherd's point of view
Standing high above the trial
That He brought you safely through.
All the valley's disappointments
Will never look the same to you
For things look different on the mountain
From the Shepherd's point of view.

The Unsurpassed Intimacy of Tested Faith
Jesus said to her, ’Did I not say to you that if you would believe you would see the glory of God?’ —John 11:40
Every time you venture out in your life of faith, you will find something in your circumstances that, from a commonsense standpoint, will flatly contradict your faith. But common sense is not faith, and faith is not common sense. In fact, they are as different as the natural life and the spiritual. Can you trust Jesus Christ where your common sense cannot trust Him? Can you venture out with courage on the words of Jesus Christ, while the realities of your commonsense life continue to shout, “It’s all a lie”? When you are on the mountaintop, it’s easy to say, “Oh yes, I believe God can do it,” but you have to come down from the mountain to the

The Great Life
Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled . . . —John 14:27
Whenever we experience something difficult in our personal life, we are tempted to blame God. But we are the ones in the wrong, not God. Blaming God is evidence that we are refusing to let go of some disobedience somewhere in our lives. But as soon as we let go, everything becomes as clear as daylight to us. As long as we try to serve two masters, ourselves and God, there will be difficulties combined with doubt and confusion. Our attitude must be one of complete reliance on God. Once we get to that point, there is nothing easier than living the life of a saint. We encounter difficulties when we try to

Programme of Belief
Believest thou this? —John 11:26
Martha believed in the power at the disposal of Jesus Christ, she believed that if He had been present He could have healed her brother; she also believed that Jesus had a peculiar intimacy with God and that whatever He asked of God, God would do; but she needed a closer personal intimacy with Jesus. Martha’s programme of belief had its fulfilment in the future; Jesus led her on until her belief became a personal possession, and then slowly emerged into a particular inheritance – “Yea, Lord, I believe that Thou art the Christ. . . ”
Is there something like that in the Lord’s dealings with you? Is Jesus educating you into a personal intimacy with Himself? Let Him press home His question to you – “Believest thou this?” What is your ordeal of doubt? Have you come, like Martha, to some overwhelming

Never Look Away - Building 429
The water rages on tonight
And the storm is hiding the skyline
I try to see the northern shore
But the waves are much higher than before
From the deep Lord
You are, You're beckoning
You call out my name
Say don't be afraid cause I
I'm here just believe me
So I won't look at the waves
I'll look on your face and I
I'll walk when I see you
Lord give me faith
To never look away
Staring deep into You eyes
I'm standing by Your strength
But fear and doubt they take my sight
And I begin to sink
Hear my plea Lord will You
Come rescue me
It's not that far to where You are
With outstretched arms You're calling out my name
I'm gonna walk, I'm gonna fall
But You'll have my all

Waiting for Spring
8:14
Waiting for Spring. I feel like my soul has been waiting for Spring for 18 years. I've had glimpses of Spring in my life. My beautiful daughter, my promised gift, was born. The gifts/provision You've given us along the way.
Lord I'm so thankful for this journey! I don't want to complain. . . I'm just so tired of Winter in my life, my soul. Please let Spring come! Please let us move on and heal! Even now I'm so sorry, as the tears fall, for not being thankful for right now. It's so hard when the hurts and trials seem to keep piling up. I know You are there! I see You there everyday! Thank you Lord for being there Everyday and helping me through this time. You use the little things, daily, to remind me You are still here, watching over all of us. 8:20
