When I first started reading My Utmost for His Highest, 17 years ago, most of the writings went over my head. It wasn't until God took us down this path that we can look back and see how much we really didn't understand. But even then God would lead me to certain parts of it that would stir something in my spirit and it would always be exactly what I needed to hear at that time.
One of the lessons I learned was to praise Him in EVERY circumstance. In even the bleakest of outward appearances, if you can learn to praise Him, REALLY praise Him from the depths of your being, you will eventually experience a breakthrough like none other! While writing this I stumbled onto another wonderful devotional that I have to share today, God's Silence--Then What?
